Hey, I was wondering how much you charged when you first began giving violin lessons! So, um, how much did you charge? I'm going to begin giving lessons to someone, and I have no idea what the "going rate" is.

Aw, awesome! Beginning to teach is fabulous to the max :D.

Anyway, I thiiink when I started, I charged $7.50 for a half hour. I've gone up some since going to college etc. and I'm planning to do so again, but I'm pretty sure that I started around the same time age-wise and charged $7.50. *shrug* It's a pretty subjective business, heh. Ask a few people!
