last night I came home to half a dead mouse on my living room carpet. I do not own a cat. There was no sign of the other half.

It comes to something when Environmental health tells you it's bizarre.

Meep that is kinda odd. Though someone was telling me much the same thing a few days ago.

They had traps and heard one go off in the night but when they got up the next morning there was only half a mouse int he trap the other half had been eaten.

Cannibal mice or something scarier like rats??

Vermin. Lower even than goths, if you can imagine such a thing.

Environmental health thought it was probably cannibal mice. We have had no sign of rats. I got EH to reassure me on that(several times). We haven't had any sign of goths either.
