Some things never change, like the way the weather in Toronto is as erratic as ever and how friends are still as wonderful as ever. Its good to be back in Toronto and its even better to have a place of your own. I've not had internet conncection at my place yet but thats going to change soon.

hi love thanks for your text message. i got it when the boy and i were down on queen st crossing the road. we went to a cozy place where we got a pizza named The Black Seeds (all their items are named after local bands - thats a dub band) and went to myers park, which is kind of like central park in ny equivalent. it's tucked away in between many high rise apartment blocks (rather expensive) and behind my dodgy street (K road, short for karangahape road) and betwene the main street Queen. we went there because today in our poetry workshop, one of our classmates did a presentation on his multimedia poem. He had done it as graffiti in that playground, which was pretty awesome. the boy and i climbed around the playground structures (beautifully wooden as opposed to that those plastic structures that are taking over the country..) and then we sat and had pizza and talked. it was a beautiful day.
i miss you.
