It is IMPOSSIBLE to explain the feeling you get when your child walks onstage and the crowd roars. ROARS.

He was performing in the school's fashion show, spinning poi. It was just such an amazing show. He was onstage three times, and was cheered every time. The first two times, he hadn't even done anything yet -- just appeared. It was awesome. When we get the DVD, I'll upload parts to YouTube.

That is AMAZING! Poi is wonderful, and I admire anyone who's really good at it. :)

Definitely let us know when you upload to Youtube, I wanna see! :D

Okay fine, you win at parenting.

Johnny, tell her what she's won.

You've won ... ANOTHER KID!

It's true: I do win at parenting. He went to an after party and called to ask if he could blow curfew, then called again for a pickup. Baby J better be this easy.

Seriously, that's good.

And I didn't know he spun poi.

Our Toronto friend taught him this summer and gave him sock poi. When we figured out it's not just a phase -- or it's at least a long-running phase -- we upgraded him to glow and long-tail poi. He's a very happy child.
