This isn't to make up for anything he said. I have no intention of apologizing on his behalf. But something happened today at my job that gave me a jolt of hope and made me smile and I think that maybe by passing it along, it will help with the way that the Keillor article made you feel ( ... )

and when he's wrong he's usually so kneejerk stupid-wrong that I can easily identify the occasions. so on the whole I feel pretty safe using him as my proxy moral compass.
