The news of Philip’s death has been a real shock.  I just found out this morning a short hour or two ago.  Philip was a relatively young man.  I thought he was younger than what his obituary said.  He was not necessarily full of vigour and life, the way young men are.  He was rather quiet, mousy.  But he loved to read, and that is from where we ( Read more... )

So, I seem to have found myself a summer job.  The Blomidon Naturalists Society has hired me and a rec student to organize and run their Green Dragon nature camps.  The best part is that we take entire day camps out, instead of actually having kids we are responsible for.  This way, we can do our jobs and teach kids about birds, plants, fish, etc, ( Read more... )
