So,  Christmas vame and went, winter is almost over. I enjoyed sun today and listened to a titmouse. Had a eventful trip to the city while trying to figure out what to do with my laptop with nonworking keyboard. Problem solved by walking into a store and asking what can I do.

My Oldest had some words with me last night. I´ve put on lights to my backgarden. And I listen to Christmas songs. ALL the time. Last night I made kindlings for present to my future BIL. Summer is here! I'm both enjoying and resenting it. Enjoying because of the light summer nights and mornings. Resenting because of the heat. I tell, I'm not made for the blistering sun and heat over 25Celcius. I'm also currently on a medication that makes me burn more easily. So no basking in sun for me this year.

Since my last update lots of things have happened. I did survive the winter holiday, though managed to get inflammation to my thumb tendon. So far it has not gotten much better, but doctor said only time will heal it. At least it's not sore anymore. Just complains with certain moves ( Read more... )

Winter holiday has started. For the next few days we'll be enjoying the time with family and relatives. Before that though I need to survive 6,5 hours drive plus breaks to reach the place. I don't think I've done that before... or not in the last 15 years. Meaning I haven't been the one to drive. Urgh.

Today is again the time of year that people say summer can come. It's 30th of April, or as we Finns say, Eve of May. Merry Vappu! People around Finland are celebrating. It's for work and study.. and to be honest, it's mostly an excuse to get buzzed, drunk as skunk or how you say it.
