This weekend a bunch of us pedalled from Llo-Lleo (near San Antonio) to Matanzas. There were some murderous climbs, but we all made it, and all in one piece. Like I said in another post, we had some really violent crosswinds to contend with, but I will say it again, and again and again. Chile is gorgeous. I can't believe I get to live here.

Cienfuegos is the name of a street not too far from where I live, which has the cheapest Internet cafe I have found in Chile on it. And though the place is still dirty, they seem to have upgraded since the last time I deigned to come here, pre-internet in the cassus summerlessyearicus.

I decided to take advantage of the Tuesday we have off, and run out of town for a few days. I'm in Pucón, which is in the Lakes Region of Chile. Supposedly Switzerland-like. Gorgeous, to be sure.
