today, i talked to the first conn freshman so far who has said "i'm scared" instead of "OMG OMG SO EXCITED AHH"
and i felt a lot better.
i think part of the reason ive been feeling so scared is because i look around on facebook and everyone is in this crazed state of excitement, and i'm feeling nervous, and i feel like i will be completely alone on

your roommate is stupid. was she talking about hookah? that's basically just smoking flavored tobacco out of this huuuuge contraption. it's legal, but obviously not legal in dorm rooms. also i say she is stupid because how does she expect to smoke hookah in a basement room? don't worry about it. and if she does insist of fogging up the whole room with smoke (which i sincerely doubt she will do, how much of an idiot do you have to be?) then just hang out in freeman all the time with your new buddies... similar to what i did with JA and branford.

we will talk more at lunch, of course. but before i go i must also add that i think all these people that are saying they're excited are probably sooo nervous too. it's just that no one is going to write on the board "i'm so nervous" because they probably think everyone else will think they are weird. but i bet everyone is nervous. i was, but after a few days i got comfortable.

but even if you are organized as well you would be much more fun than them!!! ew! they are icky.
actually, i haven't met them yet. let's hope i'm wrong about that. i'm just being paranoid.
