You have to love some of the figureheads of the evangelical right. What's the sixth commandment? I guess sometimes money is more important than human life, huh? But with all kidding aside, assassination, although alluring, is rarely a good tactic to employ when you want to get rid of world leaders in unstable countries. I'm not sure exactly. We did president reports in 5th grade and I had Ford. I'm pretty sure it was due to the public wanting the government to stop meddling in other countries' affairs. Understandable, seeing as it was right after Viet Nam. I don't recall if it was a ban on CIA assassinations or any assassinations sponsored by the US government. Regardless, I'm sure King George could find a loophole if he wanted to. Venezuela is a big oil country (7th largest reserves in the world), so Chavez' life might depend on how much he's pumping our way.

Which reminds me, I saw diesel at $3.06 today at the 76 station on Juanita Drive. Couldn't help but chuckle. Fucking crazy.
