This is sort of short notice, but I need a lesson plan for middle school tomorrow afternoon. So far I have just been playing games with them like 20 questions and stuff to practice speaking English. I can do pretty much whatever I want with these classes so it's okay to be as creative and ridiculous as I want. I had been making up my own

if i write a funny drama with simple stage directions, will you make them act it out?
you can introduce the harder vocabulary words at the beginning of the lesson,and then go on with the play.

if so, what is the desired length?

or, easier, break them up into groups and make them make up their own comedy skits in english. monitor the groups as they go, suggest good vocab/phrases ... and then performances are at the end of the week/end of two weeks.

It's a good plan, but the middle schoolers seem resistant to doing anything that might make them look silly in front of their peers.
