Sean and I watched the movie "Fireproof" lastnight. The acting was horrible and it was cheesy at points, but I really enjoyed it. I think it was a good thing for us to see together. I have been going through old pictures this weekend and it has me feeling sad. Sad, because I miss a lot of the people in the pictures and the friendships. It is so hard to maintain those friendships after you grow up and have the responsibility of work and family. I miss them. It also makes me miss carefree life with fewer responsibilities. Grace had a procedure this morning at Children's Hospital. They put a tube in her tear duct, the one that has been blocked since she was born. We had to have her in DC at 5:45 am this morning, so I am exhausted from getting up at 3:15. Everything went well though and we are at home resting and she is taking a nap. How many more hours until

So here it comes. My holiday bitterness is starting to rear it's ugly head. All year long, I do fine with the kids and their visitation schedules and the sharing and then Thanksgiving and Christmas come along again and I find myself pissed off. Grace has been cracking me up lately. She is very vocal for 2 and apparently has no problem standing up for herself. We were at story time at the library this week when one of the other toddlers came up and pushed her, unprovoked. She immediately turned around and said, "That's not nice. You say sorry!"
