Today I went to the barn, hoping to walk Delani around the barn and do some ground work with her in the round pen.

An update to my sewing to-do list
I haven't done nearly as much sewing lately as I'd like to have done, but here is an update to my previously posted to-do list:
1. Ren Fest dress. This is mostly done already, but needs some alteration to fit properly

Late 15th Century Italian Chemise? Done!
I can now cross #2 off my sewing to-do list.
A few weeks ago, I did the chemise from a Simplicity costume with some muslin (cheap cloth), and it was OK, but I thought I could do better.
I've looked at lots and lots of "how-to" websites that tell you how to make chemises, and finally settled on this oneI think I bought 5 yards of the "real" fabric ( Read more... )
