Today I recieved my notification of acceptance by UW-Madison for an academic year in Coimbra, Portugal. If anyone is planning on being in Europe from 10/06-6/07, feel free to visit me in the medieval lands of Portugal. We'll drink wine and coffee like crazy, I promise. Leave a comment  4 

So I took place in the "Mr. School of Music" contest tonight and actually managed to win 5th prize. Prizes were: free burrito from Pancheros, free Papa John's pizza, free Happy Joe's pizza, and a $5 gift card to the local downtown coffeeshop Cup of Joe. Yesterday's converation with Garbes about the beauty of a hook umbrella seemed to anticipate the rain today. I drove to search earlier, with success in the discovery of not one but two hooked-ended umbrellas; one for me and the larger Estee Lauder one for Garbes, being more fitted to his taller frame. Not updating lately, not terribly exciting I suppose...just doing things day by day here in Cedar Falls. Had some alright times, new years events and such. Heather got a three foot sub for free yesterday, so we formed an informal 'sub club' and traveled to eight different homes of our friends/professors and such delivering pieces of subs.
