This post is about our calico cat, Bella, who is the best thing that ever happened to our apartment. She's really Stacy's but I'm her step-mommy. So Stacy and I are almost done with our John-cation and I have to say it's been fun. We've eaten out a lot. First was brunch and Pie Lady with Liz, Leo, and Taryn. We spent Easter with my family and helped hide eggs for my cousins to find, watched Sound of Music and thanks to Tivo, were able to pause it so we could run out and grab some ice cream. So apparently, the first week of April is a really busy month. I had my friend Eric's 30th birthday on Friday, which I'm glad I went to. It was nice to just go to a party and chill with people, though it would've been better if I had known a few more people. It's so depressing to see someone that you care about be really sick and not be able to do anything to really help them. Though I do reserve the right to remember all of the crazy and stupid things that they say or do and remind them for the rest of their lives.

Stacy and I went to the Pie Lady this week. It's a bakery right down the road from us and it has taken us almost a year to actually make it in there. We both got a small tuxedo cake thingy that was the best thing I've ever eaten ever. We actually called them up to tell them that like 5 minutes after we'd been there. Well, 2008 ended with some excitement. We got a ton of snow, and I got woken up by John, who was stuck in our parking lot!
