Notes: This is one of those shorter, slightly introspective things I'm moved to write on occasion. I have another b-day fic for Asami almost finished, but this kind of jumped out just now. (with apologies to Oscar Wilde...)

Dorian Gray, Ha, I would of never thought Asami and it would fit together in a story, but this was good. For some odd reason, I could see Mikhail with one though. (Vanity, thy are a cold, cruel teddy bear) ^_-
I liked what Asami saw in his portrait and I'm glad he did too. I wonder if Akihito will notice immediately (probably, with his photographers eyes, he doesn't miss much).
Another sweet tale. Thanks.

ps. I tried writing my own little birthday fic but it turned into a horror story so I'm holding it for Halloween time. There's no reason to make Asami have a bad time on his birthday. I couldn't do that to him.

LOL i loved reading Dorian Gray,i think i first read it when i was 13 or 14 years old,i remember being mesmerized by the book.

...huh...Asami’s mum? i think if she knew what her son is/was doing she died from a heart stroke.
The idea of never growing old is so alluring,since we humans can’t do it at least i want my sex God to always keep celebrating his 35th B day [like Samantha from Sex and the City].

wow I really liked this. I think it's hard to get into Asami's head since we see so little of what he's thinking in the manga but you did a beautiful job of introspection here! I liked the style you wrote it in even though I got a little lost during the look in the secret door the first time :) I caught back up though a little later hehehe

I liked his mother's ghost :) I thought how irreverent he was but still valued it was a great way to show it! I just wish we'd have saw their meeting him and Akihito... what would he say to him? Perhaps you could make it a twoshot?! :D
