I am so excited to have a democrat in the White House. I can feel a change already, and it's only just begun. Bella is finally napping. Yes! I can take a shower now and not be so funkeee anymore.

I can't stop looking at my pantry. It's beautiful and full of goodies! We went shopping at Sam's yesterday and got enough snacks (healthy ones!) to last Bella and Mommy forever. Or at least until we run out, which will take a long long time.

Stay at home mom, what? I'm a busy person! But this is the best time of year and we will soak it in as much as we can before it gets super cold and Bella is not able to go "ousieee!" anymore.

Sometimes, I really am a good mom.

(I must remember that.)

That means we slept in. 'Til nine. Oh wow did that feel good.

The date was very nice. We went to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. David said "anything that has the words infinite playlist sounds like it's right down your alley," and it was. I'm going on a date tonight. That's right, folks! A DATE! Holy cows, this is awesome. I miss dates so much.

David surprised me with flowers and a babysitter. Who has the best husband? Me! That would be me.
