Summary: Donghae is one of the most popular guys in his school but his studies aren't going that well. He needs help with his the studies but all he wants to do is dance and sing. Eunhyuk on the other hand is not a popular kid and he's doing really well with his studies. What happens when the two of them suddenly have to study together?
Donghae walked down the school hallway. He was already late from his lesson but he didn't mind. He was always late and teachers didn't even care of it anymore so why should he hurry? There was no reasons. But too soon he was at the right door so he knocked.
The teacher opened the door and gave him an annoyed look before she walked back to the front of the class. Donghae quietly walked to the back of the room and sat on his place next to Siwon, his best friend.
"You're late, again." The tall male hissed to him. Donghae didn't get why he sounded so irritated so he just smirked and lifted his shoulders at the same time as he took the right book from his school bag. He placed it on the table and without any hesitations, he lowered his head on it, letting his eyes slide shut.
The lesson was ending when Siwon punched Donghae on his elbow to his side, making the smaller wake up to the pain in his ribs.
"What the hell was that for?" He hissed and rubbed the spot he had been hit.
"You really should start to keep yourself awake. We have an exam next week." Siwon said and stood up.
"What? NEXT WEEK?!" Donghae was shocked. How had he missed that? Oh yes, he slept most of the lessons.
"You seriously need some help." Siwon sighed and walked away, leaving Donghae to the class room alone, sitting on his chair and mouth all open.
"YAH! SIWON! Don't leave me here! Wait up!" He suddenly realized and ran after him.
The hallway was already full of students and as soon as he stepped out of the class room, there were big group of boys and girls around him, asking how was he and trying to give him gifts and stuff. He smiled to them, accepting some of the gifts from the girls in front of him but when he did that, people got even more hyper and he almost fell to the floor when everyone tried to give their gifts to him at the same time.
"Ya! Make some space so he can get trough!" Siwon yelled behind his back. For Donghae's relief everybody spread up and he quickly ran to the taller man.
"Thanks." He smiled a little. Siwon just sighed and started to walk towards the class room they were having the next lesson.

The next lesson started and Donghae was a bit upset about Siwon's behavior. He had been grumpy all morning. And Donghae didn't know why.
"Siwonnie, what's wrong with you?" He asked when they sat to their places in the geography class. The younger looked at him when he had taken all his stuff on his table.
"I'm getting really tired to being the one who's taking care of you. You should take the lead of yourself and study!" Siwon whispered and then turned his head to the teacher, who had started her lesson.
"...You'll do a presentation of some subject." Donghae turned his head to her. They are gonna do a presentation? "And you'll do it in pairs." The teacher added. The noise in the room rose to the sky: everyone was shouting to their friends so they could do it together.
"SILENCE!" The teacher screamed. Donghae had hard time on keeping his mouth shut so he wouldn't laugh. She was just so pitiful sight in front of the class. She was small and had big glasses on her nose and her brown hair was tied up into a tight chignon. But somehow the class fell into silence and she kept on what she was saying:
"So... what I was trying to say was that I've already shared you into pairs, so you can't choose who are you going to do it with."
There was a loud sigh and a few yells of how unfair it was.
"Choi Siwon and Kim Kibum, you're a pair and your subject is about humans blood system. Cho Kyuhyun and Lee Sungmin, human's evolution..." The list kept on going and it felt like taking forever before she said Donghae's name. "Lee Donghae and Lee Hyukjae, you're the last pair and your subject is about humans' generation." Lee Hyukjae? Who the hell is he? I don't even know who that is!
"Teacher, what does that mean?" Someone from the class asked and earned a big laugh from everyone.
"Sex." The teacher said simple. Donghae felt like choking and had a huge cough-attack. Everybody turned their heads towards him and he just lifted his hand up as a sign that there was nothing to see.
"...So you are free to decide what kinda presentation you're going to do. Make sure there are pictures, facts and maybe a little of your own opinions from the subjects I gave."
That was when the bell rang and the class was allowed to dismiss. Donghae was still packing his bag when Siwon left the class, talking cheerfully with his partner. Kibum was nice guy in Donghae's opinion and good at school as well. He's a perfect partner for Siwon. He thought sarcastically.
"Uh... Hey."
Donghae lifted his head up to see who was talking so close to him. He saw pretty small boy, wearing a loose hoodie and jeans.
"Yes...?" He asked and rose from his chair. He lifted the bag on his shoulder and looked at the boy before him.
"Umm... I'm Lee Hyukjae. We're doing the presentation together..." He said shyly and lowered his head a little.
"Oh..." Well, that was nice one, Donghae! You didn't even know your partner and then all you say is 'Oh'?!
"So... How are we gonna do it?" Hyukjae asked, still looking at his feet. He clearly was as uncomfortable as Donghae was of their subject.
"Hyukjae, right?" Donghae asked as he already forgot his name. The said boy nodded and looked at him with his brown eyes. "Can we meet at the gates after school?"
"O-okay... though I have dance-club... but I'll be there." He smiled a gummy smile to Donghae before he left the room.
