Donghae stepped out of the class room. His mind was still trying to register who Hyukjae was and what THEY had to do together. The presentation was not going to be easy. Oh why couldn't I be with Siwon? At least it would have been fun. He thought and then smiled to the picture of him and Siwon fooling around in his room like they often did after biology lessons.
"Oppa...!"
Donghae sweared he almost had a heart attack when a small girl suddenly spoke to him. He hadn't seen her when he closed the door of the class room and now she was suddenly standing next to him.
"Y-yes?" He tried to built his cool himself back but didn't success to make it so well. The girl was pretty. She had cute smile and long, brown hair, which highlighted her cheeks beautifully.
"You... you wanna go out with me?" She burst out and lowered her head when a blush grew on her face. Donghae stared at her for a moment without saying a word. He was now trying to understand what she had said and forgot everything he had been thinking of Hyukjae.
"Oh... I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name?" So smooth, Donghae!
"I'm Krystal."
"Well, Krystal. I'm sorry but I'm not going out with you." He said coldly and turned around before he could see her face. He knew better than well to not to stay there until the girl, or sometimes it was a boy, would realize that he had just dumped her/him like a trash.
He came to the canteen when the lunch time was almost over. His stomach was growling loudly and he had forgotten Hyukjae and their project totally because of the hunger. It was killing him if he didn't eat something quickly.
"Yah! Donghae!" He turned his head to see who had yelled him. It was Leeteuk who waved his hand happily to him, motioning him to sit next to him. Donghae smiled warmly when he took his tray and placed it on the table next to his hyung.
"Where the hell were you? The lunch time's almost over already." Leeteuk said and smiled at him. How can he smile that much?
"I dumped a girl." Donghae said nonchalantly. It was normal for him to say that since he had told it to Leeteuk many times before.
"Who this time?" Heechul suddenly asked. He sat next to Leeteuk, on the other side than Donghae so he hadn't even seen the guy.
"She said she's... Krystal?" Donghae recalled. He took his chopsticks and started to eat, not caring how his two hyungs looked at him.
"Did you just say you dumped Krystal?" Heechul finally broke the silence. Though his voice was low, almost a whisper, Donghae could hear his amazed trough it. He lifted his head, mouth full of food, and nodded. He didn't know why was it so big deal.
"You dumped her?! Just like that?!" Heechul almost screamed now. He literally lost his self-control and Leeteuk looked at him with odd expression on his face. Heechul seemed to notice that when he kept on going. "I've been trying to hit her ever since I joined the singing club." He joked and earned one hard and clearly painful smack from Leeteuk, who hit him to his arm.
Donghae couldn't be laughing when he saw how Leeteuk's mood suddenly turned into pure jealousy when he just had been happy and cheerful. "Hyung, calm down. Heechul-hyung isn't even so good singer that he could have any changes to hit anyone from that club!"
Donghae soon regret what he said when Heechul jumped up and towards him, even though Leeteuk was between them. He flew up and a few steps backwards, away from Heechul but he still laughed. He knew how proud Heechul was and it always ended up into a little fight when he insulted the elder one. If Leeteuk wasn't there to stop them...
"You little brat! You don't know anything about my singing skills!" He screamed. Donghae struggled with his legs and tried not to fall to the floor when he laughed at him. Leeteuk also had hard time to keep himself calm and even failed when Heechul turned his death-glance to him.
"And even you, Jungsu!" He yelled and sat back down, pouting and turning his back to Leeteuk.
"Oh, c'mon honey. It was just a joke. He doesn't know how amazing voice is when we're alone..." Leeteuk said into his ear and blew to Heechul's neck, making the other one shiver and purr in satisfaction.
"Okay guys... I think I lost my appetite." Donghae said when he had regained from the laughing-conniption. Heechul turned his head and smirked to Donghae before he spoke.
"You can't complain. Didn't you just say you dumped one of the prettiest girls in the whole school?"
"And what do you know about pretty girls?" Donghae snapped back. He wasn't amused how Heechul took it up again when he had almost forgotten it already.
"Hey! I've been straight too!" Heechul said and Leeteuk chuckled a little, hugging his 'honey' from back.
"Yea yea. So you think..." He whispered to his ear but not too quietly that Donghae couldn't hear. The youngest shook his head lightly and took his tray, leaving the two love-birds alone in the canteen which was almost empty by now.

It felt like the day was never going to end. When Donghae finally locked his locker and put his keys back to his school bag, it was dark outside. He was tired as hell and wanted just to go to sleep and relax on his king sized bed and let his mind roam freely. In fact, he had forgotten something important: Hyukjae.
Donghae started to walk down the hallway and for his amaze Siwon came out from one class room. He looked just as tired as Donghae.
"Siwon! Yah, wait up!" Donghae shouted and speed up his pace. The taller male turned around and a small smile appeared to his face.
"Hi. Had a good day?" He asked. Tsk. Always so polite...!
"Yeah. I had fun in the lunch time with hyungs." He laughed a little but his little happiness was gone right when Siwon opened his mouth again.
"You two know already how you're gonna do that presentation?" Donghae stopped on his tracks and looked at the other who seemed like he would burst into laughing in any moment. He knew who was the other one from the 'you two'.
"Ain't funny! I must do it with some stranger! You're so lucky you have that hard-ass Kibum as your partner." Even though you don't even need him! Donghae added himself. It was too much for Siwon, who laughed now with all his heart.
"Donghae, he's been in the same biology class since we started here." Siwon said while wiping away his tears of happiness.
"Oh..." Was all Donghae said. He's been in the same class with me over a year now? And I didn't even know his name!
"You should start doing it soon." He said between his laughing and turned around. "Poor Hyukjae..." He added silently as he stepped into the main hall, Donghae not far behind.
"Hey! I heard that!" He yelled and purposely stomped on the taller's heels.
They laughed together when they stepped out of the school building to the chilly open air. Somehow they had managed to change the subject from the school project to Heechul and Leeteuk. Somewhere between their chat Donghae accidentally mentioned Krystal and Siwon seemed to be as surprised as their hyungs had been.
Siwon knew the singing club and its members pretty well because no long ago he was in it too. Now he was too busy with school so he dropped it against his own will.
"Do you think I did wrong when I dumped her?" Donghae asked. He had suddenly had this crazy thought that if he had screwed up big time.
"Nah... she'll have someone better." Siwon teased. Donghae sticked his tongue out but knew what Siwon meant. She was really beautiful so she could have whoever she wanted. Except me who dumped her already...
They came to the gates and began to walk down the side way. They were in silence until they both stopped by sudden yel.
"Donghae-ssi!" Donghae swung around and found Hyukjae running to them. His face was a little reddish but not like he was blushing. He looked more like he'd stood out there long time. And then Donghae remembered how he'd promised to meet him at the gates after school.
"...shit..." He coursed out loud but kept his voice so low that Hyukjae couldn't hear it. But Siwon did and he gave the smaller disapproving look.
"Hey..." Hyukjae panted. "Didn't we agree to meet at the gates?" He asked innocently. Donghae scratched his neck and tried to find words to say.
"Yeah... I forgot... Sorry." He muddered. Oh sweet Jesus! What the hell's wrong with me?! Indeed, he hadn't spoken correctly with Hyukjae around at all that day!
"That's OK. Oh, hi. I'm Hyukjae." He smiled a gummy smile to Siwon who smiled back, not as much as he did but still smiled and answered. "Siwon."
"You're doing the presentation with Kibum?" Hyukjae asked and Siwon nodded. He was just opening his mouth to say something but Hyukjae spoke again. "You're so lucky. He's so talented at school..."
"Yeah, I've heard so." Siwon chuckled.
Donghae lifted his gaze from Hyukjae to Siwon with a question mark hanging over his head. "You've heard so? And what's that chuckle?"
"Nothing you need to know." Siwon mocked and then turned back to Hyukjae. "I heard you're doing well with your studies too. I'm so sorry you have to do the presentation with Hae."
"YAH! I'm good if I want to!" Donghae yelled when the two laughed together at him. Donghae pouted and crossed his arms on his chest, muddering something to himself. When Hyukjae got back to his normal state, he asked Donghae when they would start doing the presentation.
"I don't know." He answered but didn't have time to say anything more when Siwon cut him off.
"You should start it today already if you want to do it on time."
"You're unbelievable Choi Siwon!" Donghae screamed and hit him to his arm. Siwon really enjoyed humiliating him in front of his new partner.
"Well... When shall we meet?" Hyukjae asked. Donghae stared at him, his eyes wide open. Had this guy just ignored his childish act and Siwon's mocking comment???
"Uuh... Tomorrow at 2PM?" Where did I pic that time up?!
"Great. I'm free then. And... Where are we gonna see?" Hyukjae smiled. Donghae swore he saw all his clean white teeth when he smiled like that.
"At my place? I'll give you my number if you don't find it." Donghae said and told his address when Hyukjae picked up his phone and saved Donghae's number into it.
"We'll see tomorrow then." Hyukjae said, gave one last smile and turned around. Donghae stared at his fading figure as he walk away. He realized it when Siwon waved his hand before his eyes.
"What?" He asked and looked at the taller one who only smiled and shook his head and started to walk. Luckily they lived by the same road so they could walk togethe, though the rest of the way home was in silence.
