Donghae dropped his school bag to the floor and kicked the door of his room shut. He didn't bother to go to the shower or eat or even take off his school uniform before he let himself fall to the bed.
"Aish... I even forgot we have to do that God damn presentation...!" He cursed to his pillow. He kept his breath, trying to clear his mind, until he thought he would faint if didn't breath. How could he forget everything and why was his head so confused? Am I sick?
"Donghae, honey. Jungsu-ssi is called for you." His mom said behind the door. "Can I come in?" She asked and waited until she heard his reply.
Donghae groaned in frustration and turned to lay on his back before he told her she could come in. And without any hesitations she opened the door and came to the room, handing her mobile phone over to Donghae. She was already wearing her night dress and by one quick glance over to her, Donghae could see how tired she was. She had been working really hard after his dad died and Donghae kind of felt bad because he should be the man in the house now. She should be at home, happy and energy. Not like she was now.
"He asked you to call him back. And why didn't you pick up to your own phone? He said he had tried to call you several times." She asked when Donghae sat up on his bed.
"I think it's still silenced..." He muddered, more to himself than to her.
"I'll make something to eat before you'll go to sleep." She said smiling a little weakly and left Donghae to call his hyung.
It took Donghae a moment before he remembered what he had to do. Even though he liked Leeteuk, who was like a big brother to him, there were days when he really wasn't on the mood to talk to him. And this was one of those days.
He sighed and dialoged Leeteuk's number from his mother's phone. (A/N: Why does she have Leeteuk's number? It's 'cause they had known for years. Before Donghae made friends with Siwon, he was always with Leeteuk. They were inseparable. And it was before Leeteuk met Heechul.)
"Hyung, you had called me..."
"Yah, Donghae! Hell yeah, I tried to call you! Why didn't you pick up?" Leeteuk shouted. The noise on the background was really loud. At the very same second when Leeteuk answered to his call he could say that the elder was definitely not at home.
"Hyung, where are you? I can't hear you well..."
"I'm out with Chullie. But where the hell were you? We wanted to take you out with us!" Leeteuk cut him off.
"You mean you wanted to take me with you. There's no way Heechul-hyung would have wanted me to be with you when you could be alone." Donghae teased. His hyung was such a poor liar. And even worse when he was out with Heechul because that always included drinking. "But I was walking home with Siwon if that matters."
There was a boisterous yell and then the music was so loud that Donghae had to remove the phone from his ear.
"HYUNG! Go out! I can't hear a thing!"
Leeteuk answered something but the noise covered it up. But then the background was pretty quiet and Donghae moved the phone closer again.
"Okay, I'm out now. But quickly, I don't want to leave Chullie inside on his own for long." Leeteuk said. Donghae chuckled a little by the image of Heechul, dancing on the dance floor even though he wasn't such a perfect dancer... But he soon erased the image from his head.
"I know you didn't try to call me just 'cause you wanted me to come out with you. So what is it?"
"Well, I heard you have to do a presentation in biology. And your subject is... quite interesting." He laughed his precious laugh. Donghae couldn't help it but was amused that the call turned out into this subject even though he didn't want to talk about it.
"Yah! It's not fun at all!" Okay, that didn't sound believable at all!
"Sorry Hae. I think it's really hilarious 'cause I did the same presentation with Chullie last year."
"WHOA?! You did it from the same subject?" Donghae couldn't hide his amaze.
"Yeah. I must say that we had a lot fun..." Leeteuk chuckled, giving Donghae some bad images which he shook off of his head immediately.
"I bet you had... But I must do it with a stranger!"
"You don't know Hyukjae?" Donghae was surprised by the sudden exclaim from Leeteuk. He knows Hyukjae? "You really don't know him? You must have been living in a barrel if you're seriously saying that you don't know him!" Leeteuk was now shouting.
"Hyung, you're drunk! Stop yelling." He paused for a moment, thinking what he should say. "But I really don't know him at all. He's been in the same biology class with me over a year now and I've never even seen him. Nor heard his name!"
"You're unbelievable! You should joy to the dance club..." Leeteuk said but before he continued Heechul's voice was heard. "I must go now before those horny sex-monsters will eat my Chullie alive." And the line went dead. Donghae chuckled a little when he imagined Heechul in the middle of the gay bar, where they probably were, and surrounded by tens of big guys.
But then the realization hit him and Donghae mentally slapped himself. He had totally forgotten that Hyukjae had said he was in the dance club! And Leeteuk was there too. Donghae himself loved dancing too, but he only danced for himself, in front of the mirror, in his room and behind the locked door.
But something in Leeteuk's words made think about dancing a bit more. 'You should joy to the dance club.' Should I really do that?
He walked to the kitchen where he found his mom eating already.
"Can I ask you what was it about?" She asked and lifted her head to take a look of her son.
"He was just lonely." Donghae said simply, though it was a lie and sat across her. They ate in silence until Donghae gathered his courage to speak again. He knew she wanted to hear about his school and how he was doing with his studies since she was so busy nowadays to get more money so they could live nicely. But there was no way he was going to mention the presentation!
"I'm gonna joy to the dance club." He suddenly burst out. She lifted her head again and didn't even try to hide he amaze.
"When did you decide to do that?" She asked with an eyebrow lifted a little. He had never wanted anyone to see him dancing, except for Leeteuk and Siwon. And now he was going to joy to a club? She was totally surprised about that. She knew her son really could dance and she had seen him dancing several times but he never knew about it.
But what could Donghae answer to her question? He couldn't just say he got the idea a few moments ago! So he decided to be without saying anything and just kept on eating.
"Well, I'm happy you have some activities after school and not just the computer." She stated.
Donghae was soon finished with his food, so he got up, put the dishes to the dishwasher and gave a kiss to his mom's cheek. "I'm going to bed. Good night umma." And then he was in his room again.
~~~
"RISE AND SHINE!" Donghae heard someone shouting to his ear and it was the first thing he heard that morning. So the day started so damn well...
What the fuck is this!? Donghae thought and turned angrily to his other side, pulling the blanket over his head to silence that annoying voice.
"Donghae! Get up, you fat-ass!" That someone yelled and hit him with a shirt he found from the floor. "We're bored and Teukie has one hell kinda hangover!" He kept on screaming. It didn't take long to realize who that cursed person was. He definitely was the only person in the whole word who dared to wake Donghae up in the Saturday morning. But what the hell was he doing in Donghae's room?!
"Go to hell Chul....!" Donghae groaned when Heechul pulled the blanket to the floor and the cold air hit Donghae to his bare chest. Or at least it felt cold after the night he spent under the warm blanket...
"Sorry Hae, but that's not gonna happen." Heechul chuckled and without opening his eyes, Donghae could tell Heechul had that evil smirk on his pretty face like always when he got a change to bully Donghae.
Donghae turned on his stomach and buried his face to the pillow. And in the mean time Heechul walked to the window and with one confident yank he opened the curtains, letting the sun shine right to Donghae's bed.
"Chullie, let him sleep. We can wait 'till he wakes up." So Leeteuk is here too... that's just great!
"Oh yea, so that you can sleep until your head is clear again?" Heechul teased his boy friend. Donghae heard Leeteuk muttering something. He didn't understand what he said but his voice sounded pretty annoyed.
Donghae didn't have any attempts to open his eyes, but was forced to do it when something, someone, hit him to his back. He yelped at the sudden weight and tried to get more air to his lungs.
"What the...?!" He couldn't even finish his question when he heard Heechul laughing on his back.
"Now I got you up!" He said with a teasing tone in his voice and the next thing Donghae realized was that he was facing the cold floor. And how did Heechul even manage to drop him off of his bed?
"Chullie, was that necessary?" Leeteuk asked and got up from the chair beside Donghae's desk. He walked to the youngest and helped him up.
"Wow hyung. You really look like shit." Donghae said when he looked at the eldest. He had dark rings under his eyes and his hair was messy. And not mentioning anything of his clothes. He never wore something that random.
"And good morning for you too." Leeteuk said and sat to the bed next to Heechul, who chuckled to him and ruffled his already messy hair.
Donghae yawned and stretched his arms. Then he looked at his two hyungs again. Heechul looked like he had had the best night of his life and he was just as energy as he always was. And Leeteuk on the other hand looked like he hadn't slept at all last night.
Donghae was about to ask what he thought (Had a good night, hyung? *blink and a teasing voice*) but the decided to keep his mouth shut if he didn't want to have angry Leeteuk-hyung on him. But what he really wanted to know was:
"How did you get in?"
"We climbed up the chute and jumped in to your mom's room, scared the life out of her and then came here." Heechul said immediately and laughed to Donghae's expression. "Of course not, you idiot! Your mom let us in."
"And what are you doing here?" Donghae asked and crossed his arms over his chest while rising his eyebrow.
"I heard you're doing that biology presentation we did last year." Heechul replied with a smirk. Donghae rolled his eyes and sighed. Good news are spreading quickly...!
"So you came here only to tell me this?" He frowned. "Okay, then you can go so I can prepare myself before Hyukjae comes."
Heechul burst into laughing and dropped himself to the bag, rolling from the side to the other one. Donghae knew exactly what went to him and walked to him, slapping him to his leg which almost hit him to his chin.
"Yah! Heechul! Stop using that perverted mind and get the hell out of my room so I can get dressed!" He yelled but it didn't help. Now even Leeteuk was starting to giggle a little, despite his hangover. "Hyung...! Not you too!!!" Donghae whined and pulled the duo off of his bed and pushed them out of the room.
