Sounds like a wonderful day. Someday soon I'm going to put myself in your hands and let you give me the locals tour of TO. I know the areas I worked in and where Herb and Jessie live, but that's about it.

I'd be happy to have you come and amble the city with me! For your tour I'd include some of the yarn shops and tea places.

*blush* That LCBO is just a block south of the Summerhill station -- it's a drinker's play ground! (And yes they have a WALL of scotch)

It's been so long since I've been to Toronto, more than ten years I think. And then I was mainly in Guelph over NYE for a confrence, then got caught in the snowpocalypse of '99 when people were stranded at the airport for days.

And before that about another five for a visit to TO. I have a Montrealer's natural dislike for TO fed by a Westcoaster's disdain for flat places and anything east of the Rockies. I always forget that TO, much like Montreal has a rich and long history with well established neighbourhoods and many nifty independent shops and restaurants.

One of these years, I really need to get back to TO.
