So I have made "official" ("official" = I asked off work) plans to come to Birmingham now.

Yay!

I'm actually excited - I haven't been back since graduation.

Anyhoo, for my peeps in B'ham, I'll be there Thursday Oct 13th through Sunday Oct 16th.

I like how I say peeps, even though I'm Whitey McWhiteson III. (No, seriously.  I went to the Estee ( Read more... )

I've never been to Rhode Island.

I can come up there and pretend to be a huge ass, by exclaiming at random intervals how "Everything is bigger in Texas!"

It would be fab.

Oh Rhode Island is hoppin (with mice). Can you please come up here and say everything is bigger in Texas? They would probably like you as much as they like me saying everything is way more awesome in Georgia/Alabama. You know, like street signs, and lines on the road, and air conditioning?

Totally. I can go around saying, "You know, in Texas, we have COUNTIES that are bigger than your state."

Which we do. I remember learning that in Texas History class in the 7th grade.

For anyone who's curious, the county is Brewster County, and it's actually bigger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined. It's also the home of the King Ranch, the biggest ranch in the country.

Heh. Sometimes the "My wanker is bigger than yours" game is fun.

Brett's having his birthday party at Bellbottoms that Saturday. You should totally join us. $1 beer and well drinks from 8-9pm.

As long as Brett's down with me stopping by, I'm totally there.

Totally's a great word. So fitting in so many cases.

My cell's 214-529-3219, just so you don't think it's some random crazy person calling you.

Everybody's invited. Bellbottoms is desperate for customers, so they've been giving away these "private parties", hence the cheap booze. This is Brett's second one. I've won one too, and so have Drew, Brooxie, Matt Smith, the list goes on.

Wow. Do you win these parties or just politely request them?

Anyway, sounds cool. (I don't think I've ever been to Bellbottoms, because back in college, I'm pretty sure I lived under a rock.)
