having grown up in dubai i know there is a big gaping 'cultural divide' . i also find the economic vs. cultural discrepancy clearly clearly glaring. a city that is so glitzy has a traditional underbelly. big surprise! did they expect cultural change to occur in 20 odd years?

as much as i enjoy being healthy*, turkey mince just dosent have the same something** about it that other minces*** do.
even the most garam of garam masala's cannot mask this deficiency.

so we're back from our big house hunt in Melbourne. We left on Thursday and returned late last night and I declare it to be a most productive 4 days.
