Relationship toxicity seems to be a buzzword/topic in recent years, and I get it. Truly, I do. This is a no win situation for all involved. I don't even have anything to offer here. But my husband, mamas_minion says that if you kick him out, and he is unable to fend for himself, with his behavior patterns, he will mostly likely land himself in jail, and that will probably be the best thing for him. It seems to have worked for your daughter. Hard to take, I know. I wish we had more to offer.

It definitely is, and we figure he would probably end up in jail or institutionalized in some way. If I can ever reconcile myself to him ending up that way based on his choices, kicking him out might become "easier". I just haven't reached that point yet.
