Two years ago, in celebration of turning the big 5-0, seven of my close relatives and I took a ten-day, dream trip to Scotland. The part of Scotland I saw was beautiful, and of course the other parts seen through TV shows like Hamish Macbeth and Shetland and Monarch of the Glen. 10 days seems like a luxury, and as you say, it still wasn't enough!
We loved Italy. I've been to Rome and Florence twice, and Venice once, and I recommend all of them. Don't miss Venice-- it's a one-of-a-kind city!
