Strike one cross-stitch project ...
Well, as if I needed a reminder to keep my x-stitch projects safely stored somewhere ...
I took my Japanese Boat Scene off the scroll rods, and set it aside for a few days. Somehow it got knocked off my desk, pulled into the rat cage, and gnawed on :(
I'll have to start all over now. Blah. -

I have the world's most poorly designed kitchen. It's very long, very narrow, and has very little counter or cabinet space. I've tried shelving racks and I'm just not happy with them, so I'm installing shelving on the walls. Tonight I got about a third of it done ( Read more... ) -

My current cross-stitch work in progress (WIP) is coming along nicely ... I'm about 1/3 finished. It was started on June 19th. The finished piece will be 10 inches wide by about 6 inches tall.

Had a very nice time in Cambridge today. Kilteer unfortunately had to work this morning, and I didn't want to stay home by myself. After determining that my friend E-- was also suffering from the "Saturday nothings," we made plans to meet for lunch in Cambridge.
