I am seriously thinking about quiting LJ. There are only about three people here who I feel are close to me. Sometimes I get very upset over the posts that I read and I wonder if it is worth having this journal. I don't know if it is worth it after all.

Well, that's your prerogative to decide, ultimately, but I would miss you around. I do read your entries even though I don't always respond. And well, the journal is for yourself, not for other people. But at any rate, I get to see you allllll summer. Haaahaa!

... would suggest to take a vacation instead of leaving LJ completely. LJ is a personal journal, you are allowed to say or post anything, exept it's criminal. I use it mainly to tell my friends I'm alive and kicking so to say. I share more in my comments, as in my journal. I need, so to say, the ball throwed at.
I'm not a great journaler, I like more the interactive(message board) character of this place. So I sometimes use it as a soapbox, too.

Even when we both have at the moment a political dissent, it doesn't mean I dislike you. I like discussions and debates. It would make me indeed sad if you leave LJ.
