I said to myself, whilst watching the USA v. Canada Men's Hockey Olympic Gold Medal Game (whoo what a mouthful!), just around the 2:00 mark of 3rd period with USA down 2-1 against Canada after a RIVETING game of 58 minutes of hockey so far, whilst eating ramen...

Fire Update
The fire has spread to within the limits of my city of Diamond Bar, but while it is close to my house, maybe 3 miles from the look of Googlemaps, the fire is still o'er the mountain. The rich folk's homes have been evacc'ed. My parents are packing, but I'm at a friend's place.

California Fires Update - Brea
Just letting people know that the Brea fire in California's about 5? miles from me. The air's got smokey smell, and the freeways/roads near this area (57 South/North) is closed off. But, this house is Alright ( Read more... )
