Looking for VoIP provider...

Anyone out there have a good experience with a VoIP provider? We've had Vonage since 2004 and up until about 3 months ago, it was GREAT. Then problems started to develop. After today, I'm wanting to cancel them IMMEDIATELY and just go without a home phone until we find another provider. Jim says wait til tomorrow because he's expecting a call ( Read more... )

Well the vonage plan that we had didn't use any cool phones. it's just a modem that you hook up to your internet connection and then hook the phone up to ( ... )

Usually if someone tells you they can't do something, they have already decided they can't/won't help you. If this person is "titled", even better. But seriously, if these things could be changed so easily by a non-Jim person, wouldn't your life be a tad more difficult? Just saying...but wasting all that time of yours was not good. They should have cut you off much sooner if a non-Jim person can't bring the goods.

It would have been one thing if over the past three years ANYONE else had mentioned ANYTHING. I mean I was asked every time to verify all the "private" information on the account and then helped. I verified all the private information again this time and THEN told that he needed to speak to Jim. I probably would have gotten over that if he hadn't called me BACK and been rude. I'm posting an update today so you can see how things turned out.
