We were woken up at about 2:30am by the sound of a large animal trying to get into our cooler! Daryl scared it off and as we were putting it in the car (to prevent this from happening again), we noticed all these muddy raccoon footprints on the lid! Little buggers! We didn't actually go IN Lake Ontario....can you imagine??? I just put my foot in for 0.0001 seconds! Just so I could say I've put my foot in Lake Ontario. I don't know why Daryl dressed up like that - maybe he thought he actually could go swimming. Remember that our only previous experience with a Great Lake was Lake Superior and we definitely would have swam in that!
