So, yesterday I went to the airport at 4 o'clock for my 6:05 flight to Miami. They boarded right on time! Everything was so much better than the day before!

Until it wasn't and we had a four hour delay.

Glad you made it in one piece, with all accessories following closely behind. Do they have coffee in a teachers lounge? One thing I noticed about french colonies, the first thing they seemed to work out is how to get good coffee in the middle of the jungle and keep the wine at the proper temperature. Once that was accomplished attention to infrastructure seem to fall apart.

They have these machines that serve coffee, or, in my case, HOT CHOCOLATE, that is actually delicious. France is good like that!

I've done my fair amount of air travel, and I've never once had situations this bad before, let alone two days in the row! I know it could've been much worse, but it was not fun!

Were you the one that had the dentist appt. nightmare, too? It's like fun delays follow you around. :P How'd your luggage leave without you when you weren't on the first plane? And I keep my charger with me, and some clean underwear in my carry-on, too - just in case. (My sister once got delayed for, like, days in a German airport or something).

LOL, that was me! Ugh, I hadn't even made that connection.

My luggage left because it was already on the Miami-Dallas plane, and they weren't about to delay the plane further by opening the cargo hold and searching for my luggage. They told it me it would just spend the night in Dallas and then take the next day's Dallas-Paris flight and meet me there, but apparently at some point it flew back to Miami and got on my flight!

I have never packed a charger in my suitcase in my life! And now I never will again. All my other chargers were with me!
