Yeah, this whole Sansa situation looks to be such a hot mess and I just want to hug her forever. She is a baby! All these damn pervs need to simmer the hell down.

LOLOLOL STANNIS AS TIGH. I totally never considered that.

I am hoping Jon's story gets awesome! I like him but his parts of the story are usually a yawn-fest for me because it's all the wall/the wildings/winter is coming/blah blah blah battles or whatever and very little to do with everyone else.

I DID NOT LIKE REGULAR CATELYN, I DON'T SEE HOW ZOMBIE!CAT WILL BE AN IMPROVEMENT. I just hope none of her kids run into her.

Noooooooooooo. I just want her to get her happy ending, like in the stories!

I've seen on the wiki/the epilogue of SoS that Cat is now like a mute vigilante issuing street justice to brigands and whatnot? (Is it shallow to be mostly upset that her face looks like curdled pudding and her hair is all Cruella DeVil crazy? I can answer this: it is.)

Really? You like Stannis? He has such a ramrod up his ass, if he became king of Westeros, he'd probably close down every brothel and outlaw alcohol or dancing or any type of fun whatsoever. And Melisandre literally gives me the shivers. The other day I read a teaser chapter that GRRM posted from his upcoming book, and while Melisandre wasn't in it, after I read it, I was just thinking, "I hope that red witch gets fed to Rhllor one day!!"

So, I take it you didn't like the idea of Jon as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch?

Tyrion, FTW! He must be my favorite character.

I liked Sansa a lot after she arrived at the Eyrie.

Can't wait for the 6th book.

Let me know what you think of the 4th book. I LOVED Jaime Lannister in it. :)

I totally like Stannis! I don't think he hates fun at all. And I really like Melisandre too. She gives me the shivers in an awesome way. And I'm totally intrigued by R'hllor! I love hearing about their different mythologies, and I hope to hear so much more about this one.

I was kind of hoping Jon would just accept the Winterfell/Lord Stark position! It'd be sticking it to Catelyn AND getting us away from the (IMO) boring Wall stuff.

I like Tyrion, though I haven't been wild over some of his choices as of late.

SANSAAAAAAA, Sansa is 110% my favorite. I adore her.

I will let you know!

What really strikes me as the genius of GRRM is that he creates so many so very believable characters who are so different from each other over such long LONG books. And how each character can strike different chords in different people. For instance, my favorite characters are Tyrion, Arya, Jon, Jaime, and Ser Barristan Selmy. Characters I really dislike are Tywin, Cersei, Melisandre, Theon, Ramsay Snow and Ser Jorah. I'll bet your list would be completely different and there are so many options to choose from. At least we both have fun reading the stories!

I think the only characters I really hated were like... The Tickler, Pollixter, that kind of thing. And I wasn't wild about Theon or Tywin, and I don't know who Ramsay Snow is. But Cersei is my girl and I find Melisandre too fascinating to hate or even dislike.

But yeah, GRRM is pretty good at creating a variety of characters!

Hahaha! How do all these things equate to shit getting LESS real than the other books?! I was flipping out at how much occurred at the end of Book 3!

I don't know! At the end of the first book I was like OH MY GOD MUST START NEXT BOOK IMMEDIATELY OR I WILL DIE, and it was the same with the second one, but with this book I was like, ... okay then. I think the biggest shocker was supposed to be Zombie!Catelyn, and I was spoiled for that.

Maybe they get more like that later, but I haven't gotten an Inquisition-y feel with them yet! I really hope we at least get Stannis POV soon- mostly because I want to know ALL ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH MELISANDRE. I do love Davos, though, he's rad.

LOL, I love that everything I have held true all this time- namely, Cersei being all PEACE OUT, MAN WHO FIGURED OUT MY SECRET- was totally false. Also, oh Ned.

I think that overall I would be pretty indifferent towards Catelyn if it weren't for the way she treated Jon when he was growing up. The fact that she taught her children to call him their bastard brother, the fact that she was always cold towards him- a child! A little kid who had nothing to do with his origins, goddammit- really disgusts me. People give me flack for this all the time, but I honestly can't forgive that.

That being said, I felt terrible for her that she had to watch poor Robb die, after thinking that her other two boys are dead and not knowing too much about what's going on with her other kids.
