You really need to be more difficult. Nestle was up and dancing across my face and chest, head-butting me and thorwing things off my night-table. I opened one eye and looked at her and then gave her my back. =) Eventually she toddled off to sleep some more and when I woke up I just to poke and prod her until she woke up. Ahh the joy of owning a cat. =)
LOL Yeah, likely but, I had the lobby cat visiting fairly regularly. I had 'Malcolm the killer cat' for 14 years, and Oscar for 10 years. In some ways, it was nice to have the break but, I would tend to agree with you. She's a riot.
That's why my katz have food out all the time. However, after I get up to feed the outside katz (can't leave food for them out at night because of the raccoons) and go back to bed(!), one or more of the kidz will come and demand to come under the covers to snuggle for awhile. Then they will start to express their pleasure by flexing their claws. Into ME. Goodbye! ;)
She eats a mixture of dry, and wet cat food so, I try not to put out too much wet at one time.
She usually sleeps on the end of the bed, or on top of the drawers next to the window. So far, no flexing of claws in my anatomy. Then again who knows? She may be just getting warmed up for that ;)
