i only have my car on the weekends, but maybe i can talk my grandma into visiting you sometime! and of course, when you feel like it, you can come up here and see me and joanna and kristin.

i think i was just miserable last night. i'm sort of homesick already. BUT, i went wandering on my own this morning, and it wasn't so bad. just really hot outside. my roomie and i probably won't be best friends or anything, but she is nice. so, oh well. thanks though!

sometimes the best roommate (so i have heard...) is the one that isn't your best friend so you dont feel obligated to be in your room and talk to her or feel guilty when you leave on a weekend...just the one that you get along with and doesn't care if you sleep late ;)

and that, my friend, is the only advice i got from my stupid orientation...
