I don't know if anyone still reads this little thing. Sir is in bed with a migraine so I'm trying to amuse myself until I get tired enough to go to bed. Raining
It's raining here. A steady rain, with none of the gusto of the thunderstorm the weathermen predicted for this weekend. All of our windows are open letting in the cool, fresh air and the calming sound of water hitting concrete and grass. It's going to be very green tomorrow. Sir likes TV! Who knew?
I have officially hooked the future Mr. on Firefly! I downloaded all of the episodes onto my computer and at first, Sir only had a passing electronic interest in figuring out how to use my computer to play the eps on the televsion. Devils Food
Sir is making a cake and just brought me the spoon to lick. I didn't realize that he was making a Devil's Food cake and that spoon coming up from behind me covered in blood-red batter scared the bejeesus out of me. I couldn't even eat it! "It looks too much like blood!" Travesty!
ETA: Oh. It was Red Velvet cake, not Devils food. But still. Blood. -
A job, good grades, cupcakes and a dog named Arthur
Things go well here in Suntrails Land. I've got a new job lined up to start next week. Yay! Up until this point I had been temping as a graphic designer and it was veeeeeeeery very boring. I am planning on getting drunk tonight. Why? Because I haven't in awhile, I have a whole bottle of wine to myself (Sir isn't a huge fan) and because I've had a really nice dinner, Sir is playing WoW and now I'm watching Lost so... I can. I was social! And exercised! It was a big day for me.
Sir and I went on our first social outing last night. The store he works at hosted a bowling evening. We were in a lane with some of the other people that work in the computers section with him when one of the girls, G, (who is about our age) ordered chicken fingers and fries and set them down right across from me. Acheived today:- Went for a run (well, as much of a run as my poor under-used lungs would let me)
- Showered before 5 PM
- Put on real pants (not PJ pants) after shower
- Applied for 2 jobs
- Apologized to Sir for being a mega ass about his Business Law mid-term
