It is chronic, so unfortunately it is going to progressively get worse and likely be the thng that she dies from. Renal disease is a terminal diagnosis. It actually is quite common for older kitties to end up with. She's doing good though. You would actually never know she has this going on...she's still quite a playful 13 year old!!

it's so hard watching pets age... especially in a world where asshole people live forever....

They just seem to live such shorter lives as compared to us. Time is so precious, huh!

Wow...thats a lot for a kitty to go through. I can admire a pet now for its strength.
What pet store is now HT?

I don't remember the name of the pet store (it was back in 1992) but it was in Arden Fair where the HT is now. By 2001 when I returned to Sacramento from San Diego it was gone.
