Cleaning and organizing was NOT my priority for this evening...I was really looking forward to having a good time, but alas here I am :( Sucks. Suddenly, this weekend just got super short.

*Edit* I think I'm going to try and turn this evening around since I *really* don't like feeling this way.

My pediatric rotation end yesterday and I heard probably one of the most fucked up comments a parent could say to their 3 year old terrified child following an IV and laying beneath a camera immobilized for 30 minutes..."See, kids always leave here alive"!! Okay, so the ECU was checked and no error messages were found, the car is by all that they tested it for (performance-wise) is perfect, AND the idle relearn was performed. Well, I'm working today... Not as bad as I feared since we have not had a lot of patients lately with it being summertime and many patients go on vacation. I HATE working days where it is literally dead. Sometimes I can make it onto the computer, and sometimes it just isn't possible. I am still *really* liking this pediatric rotation considering I simply observe, so I have no responsibilities AND I end up leaving by 3:00 everyday...so it makes for a 6.5 hour day or so!! Today was a great day, other than it starting off so well :) I began my 1 week rotation at Children's Hospital here in Seattle and surprisingly didn't completely dread it!
