people don't just do things. we are taught how to do things. taught how to love, taught how to hate... we are what we because we were taught to be that. it's not that i'm saying that nurture supercedes nature, but more that there is a reason behind every action, and no one person is the architect of any one's actions. people's behavior cannot be ( Read more... )

I may not have any experience with love, but I think that if a love is strong enough, passionate enough, it can never become mundane or ordinary, but instead continues to surprise and thrive and thrill and chill. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong, and even the strongest of loves can never achieve such a thing.

The only people who ever ask me what I'm thinking about are people in my family, usually when I'm staring into a mug of tea and am thinking about things I wouldn't feel comfortable talking to them about. Other than that, no one ever asks, and there are some days I look at people and will them to ask me.

I love your entries, Mikey. I haven't given it much thought, but you are definitely in the top 3 of favorite blogs I like to read.

And actually, I always wonder what you're thinking about! (quite often you look pensive. And you always break silences with a perspective I've never thought before)

I've thought about the "life in paradise" thing a lot this past year and I've made a genuine effort to attempt to see the grandness in everything and I found a lot of simple things amazing. Before I read this post I was actually watching water boil like you told me about before. If that was you I had that conversation with... Anyway boiling water is amazing to watch.
