i think i know what people mean by a soul now. we discussed it for a bit in ethics, though now i can't recall anything anyone said other than that it is something separate and intangible and unique. i see it as the fact that you're you and not someone else. it is your perspective, individuality and consciousness. i see it in no way as anything ( Read more... )

This may be completely random but the book Wicked deals a lot with the soul and a lot of other stuff I think you may really be into. Sure, it's got a storytale face, but there's a lot of question about ethics and such if you read on that level. Maybe check it out?

That's an interesting way of looking at it, and I guess I kinda agree to some extent, although I'm still not entirely sure what I believe...

I agree with your perspective.

My soul is what defines me. At lot of times in movies, people question whether or not the antagonist has a soul. They are mistaken though. Everyone has a soul. It's more so the quality of said soul that is in question.

And it would be interesting to see souls jump into different bodies.
