When I read about intelligent design, I feel like I'm back in college and people are discussing something that seems so dumb to me but I know everyone's smarter than me, so I must be the dumb one. I just don't get it. I don't understand how things can seem too complicated not to be explained by evolution. I mean, doesn't evolution explain them

"Intelligent design" is so depressing. Why not also have a note on geography textbooks saying that not everyone agrees that the earth is round? Evolution is fundamental to just as much science. Even if you don't accept it, as a scientist you have to accept that everything's set up to look as if it's evolved.

I can't help thinking there's some really good t-shirt design in there somewhere - intelligently designed flat earth or whatever. Hmmm.

p.s. I admire your listed interest in "saag paneer". Personally I'm more of a chick pea addict.
