I was reading my online paper this morning and came across this gem. It’s all about racism in South Africa and how, alas!, it is alive and well and yada-yada-yada snore. The government is so far divorced from folk on the ground its not even funny. Everyday people seem to have completely different outlooks on life. They're not turning over every stone looking for hidden racism. They're getting on with their lives and they're proud to be South African. Kudos to the grassroots folk and a big Fuck You to the government.

Take a look at this one for a giggle, (it's not breaking news but it's a good read anyway) - Stinkbugs and mopane worms for AIDS patients. Fire Manto I say. So does the DP apparently.
