It's amazing how the days here can turn around so quickly. Not to say that the first day wasn't far better than it could have been but rather, it's a bit upsetting how frustrated I can be already. It's sad, because I can honestly claim that I like all my classes better than the ones from last semester and yet here I am complaining. Well for one

You said it. To know and care about someone entirely means wading through the boring parts, and most people aren't up to that in most situations. That's how it seems here too -- we never get past the "break was good, I did... stuff." Hopefully we'll all just remember to make the effort to be each other's boring things, and get in good practice at picking up where we left off.

Good call, to an extent. At least, observant of something I hadn't considered. But that can't be all it is, because it's undeniable that sometimes, people are interested in even the 'nothing' parts of people's lives. *shrug* Maybe that's just another part of it.

Anyway, there's always something new. I guess another piece of the difficulty of it all is the extent to which either side has to go to piece together whatever is new enough to make it mean something to the other. I think that made sense? Whatev. Life is life, eh!
