I guess I'm sort of bummed that you say FF is being written for kids. I really enjoy it right now and don't really find it juvenile at all, but actually more entertaining, engaging and surprisingly intelligent for the FF.
The FF really got fucked for a long time, with the Ben Grimm and Thing thing, and the reed dying thing, and all the skrull nonsense.
I agree that Harry Potter, Coldplay and Franz Ferdinand are working their darndest to make sure another generation does not come to pass.
Sorry to ramble. I think Ultimate FF is great.
