It's a bit of a relief to know you don't have shit taste in music. I don't know if I could take you seriously if I was trying to read Transmetropolitan knowing you were listening to Franz Ferdinand or some pitchforkmedia.com bullshit while writing it. (Although I must say, the Pixies references I've picked up aren't always completely reassuring.) If you're interested, I've listed and discussed some of my favorite music of the year here.

I don't understand the craze over Harry Potter. Maybe people are just excited that they found something to read with easy-to-follow sentence structure.
