I resigned from my position at the library a few weeks ago... it was a choice I did not want to make, leaving in haste, but it was just what needed to happen and I was also delaying the inevitable. School starts tomorrow!
My little man starts his first day of Kindergarten tomorrow! I am so excited... I should be sleeping but I can't... someone broke into my car and I didn't realize it until I was heading to work this evening, or yesterday evening I should say, it's after midnight already. I thought I was buying a sample of perfume from a company called, "I hate perfume!" And the scent was called 'In the Library'... funny I know! (promising to have the comforting scent that bookies love, books, I suppose:) It came in today and I took one major whiff of it and... it gave me a huge headache. Vincent has grown so much just in the past few months. He will be 5 in August! Unbelievable!!! P.S. I miss my friend E!!! I wonder what life would be like without death. I suppose the world would be so overpopulated by now we'd be packed in like sardines here... and that means everyone who has ever lived so far would still be alive. Our Christmas tree...
So we got our tree last night... and although we had plans to drive up to Grand Mesa to get one, hubby decided he couldn't support that idea. I really just wanted to get one there just for the whole experience, a once in a lifetime opportunity. today is my friday
woohoo, so glad to have a couple days off. I was gonna say work sucks, but I have met some cool people and we find ways to have fun to pass the nite away. Working from 10pm-7am takes some getting use to, but I think we have all adjusted well, and baby is doing good. He is growing up so fast. He's all legs and arms, he's gonna be a tall man one day ( Read more... ) -
graveyard shift
So i'm back to working again, graveyard shift at walmart. At first it felt like I was signing my soul away to the devil. Before I despised the place. But it's growing on me. wednesday nite dinner/movie
Just making a note so I can remember: Kielbasa with roasted potatoes, summer harvest corn and black bean salad. dessert was blueberry crumble. Movie was Obsessed with Beyonce. Sis couldn't be there, she's home with her mom & having her car worked on. Next week:Indian tacos.
