It's friday! yay! I have got to get my butt out of the house to mail some letters off... baby is really growing lately, and last nite I had what I think was my first round of false labor. The contractions were more in my uterus area, which hopefully means the baby has shifted from laying sideways to moving his head down to where it should be. The

Your posts today just make me happy! Wasn't it about a year ago that you were going through surgery? How fast things change! I am glad too that the ties with family are healing. (Babies help there, I think!)

Take care of that body so it can take care of that baby! You haven't far to go!

Thanks! Oh yeah, before you responded, I was just thinking that very thought, it had been exactly a year that I went thru that whole tumor operation. If I can handle a 40 lb. tumor being removed, then I can handle anything! I am doing my best to take care of body right now. My hands had been swelling alot, so I went in to have blood pressure checked, and it was fine, just need to stay off salty snacks,(which I have been craving like mad!)so I am making an effort to choose vegetables over junk. I chew ice every day, all day if someone would shave it for me, I have this little ice shaver I got for hubby for his bday at wal mart, and I use that sucker several times a day. Keeps me cool and makes me happy. Love your icon, is that your baby? Adorable!!!!!

That is Gabi, my granddaughter. She is 6 now, and looks like this icon - but she is still just as fun and as funny.

I am going to have to try that ice trick.
