I think the roadtrip back to Oklahoma to see family/friends did my soul some good. It seemed like such a big deal at the time to drive a trip like that on my own with baby. 16 hours. My hubby loves me, it is nice to know. Yesturday he surprised me with roses. He is feeling the guilt of not driving the 16 hr trip with me and baby to see family for the holidays. Hi, wow, I just got back from Tahlequah yesturday evening around 6pm. There was this really beautiful eerie looking fog over the water under the causeway as we drove in. It was spectacular. I love this island ( Read more... ) -
holiday season
Haven't been here in awhile, just letting everyone know I am still alive. Spent Thanksgiving on the island, weather was nice, walked on the beach, did a little shopping, watched movies, talked to friends & family on the phone. Oh geez, the world must be coming to an end when Heidi & Spencer are getting the royal treatment by anyone... are you seriously kidding me? Our tax dollars went to foot the bill for some motorcycle cops to escort the 'doublemint twins' to a car race? Something is seriously wrong with this company, oops, I mean country. It isn't midnite yet, so it is still August. This month has gone by so fast. I am starting a new job the 11th of September. I'll be a substitute teacher. If I like it, I may decide to go back to school and finish my hours that I lack and get my degree in childhood education. We'll see. Something to aim towards. baby's first birthday
Baby will be 1 year old August 21st... thinking about taking him to the zoo in Bville. It was the first thing that came to mind. I want it to be memorable, I guess mostly for us because I don't remember my 1st birthday. -

It's been awhile since I've been able to get on LJ, we've made the big move from Tahlequah to South Padre Island, and it's been quite an adventure. We still have our home back in Tahlequah, and are still trying to find renters. It is a slow process.
