I overheard the strangest conversation while picking up a few groceries today. There were a few people, farmers by the look of them, complaining about livestock going missing. One mentioned seeing a horse, of all things, kill one of his beasts and drag it off ( Read more... )

Likely so. I am not familiar with large predators, so I named one that seemed most likely to be able to kill and drag off a fair-sized beast.

Maybe their eyes weren't lying after all. The truth can actually be stranger than fiction at times.

A predatory horse? That has to be nonsense. Horses are herbivores.
