There are times when I truly dislike living on a budget. This would be one of them.

The requested package from my brother arrived. I once again have batteries for my MP3 player. His letter indicates that everyone at home is well, although he does not understand how I can be living with Pegasus while he negotiates with Pegasus. It seems that I am having to rethink my position somewhat on the existence of "magic." It is not something I find easy to accept, but I cannot deny what I have seen. Yet I would much rather pretend that it does not exist. It is... unsettling. Maybe it will seem less so if I understand it more.
