What sort of government would grant asylum to pirates? I would not have thought such dangerous, lower-class refuse would be permitted in this city. -

I hear talk of pirates in the harbor. One assumes that this is not a regular occurence. One would also assume that the local law enforcement would take some ships out to chase away these unsavory intruders. With the storms ended, I can at last go out and explore. I look forward to seeing what there is to see on this island. Although I doubt it shall happen, if anyone comes to the hostel in search of me, simply leave a message with the innkeeper, for I shall not be in. -
